At dawn, the voyage begins
in the cold waters of the sea,
on a boat, one eye open and the other still asleep.
Looking for fish to earn a living
among dirt and smell,
with a lonely radio playing
like a child crying in bleep.
The photographic project started on February 2016 and concluded on May 2016. It took place in Cesenatico, Forlì-Cesena, Italy and had as main theme the everyday life of fishermen.
The selected series of photos wants to give a closer look at the people who live firsthand the harsh life of fishermen.
The project has been made in collaboration with prof. Massimo Sordi at University of Bologna, Faculty of Architecture with the group Adriatic Coast to Coast with the intention to show an unconventional protrait of the Adriatic Coast in Italy.
